Limited Lifetime Warranty
The Dirt Devil® Central Vacuum System (the “Dirt Devil® System”)
is manufactured by H-P Products, Inc. (“H-P”), 512 W. Gorgas Street,
Louisville, Ohio, 44641. The following
is the exclusive limited warranty (“Limited Warranty”) provided by H-P with
respect to the Dirt Devil® System:
Permanently Installed
Components
All
permanently installed components of the Dirt Devil® System are
warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use
and care as long as the original purchaser (“you”) owns the home of the
original installation or until the system is removed from its’ original installation
location, whichever occurs first. In the
event of a defect in a permanently installed component of the Dirt Devil®
System, you must contact
an authorized Dirt Devil® dealer (an “Authorized Dealer”) to ensure the best quality repair and
servicing. Upon
determination of a defect with the permanently installed product, H-P will
provide any replacement parts to the Authorized Dealer at no cost to you. Repair
or replacement of any permanently installed defective part or parts shall be at
the labor cost billed to you by the Authorized Dealer.
Attachments
Dirt
Devil® System cleaning attachments including: turbine power brushes,
non-electric hoses, wands, tools and tool caddies are warranted to be free from
defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care for three (3)
years from original date of consumer purchase. Electric powerheads and hoses
are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal
use and care for one (1) year from original date of purchase, as more fully set
forth in the electric powerhead manual.
In the event of a defect in an Dirt Devil® System cleaning
attachment, the attachment will be repaired or replaced, at H-P’s option, at an
Authorized Dealer’s location at no cost to you.
Limitations for
Non-Residential Applications
In
non-residential applications (a) permanently installed components of the Dirt
Devil® System are warranted to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for one (1) year from date of original installation, and (b) Dirt
Devil® System cleaning attachments will be free from defects in
material and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the original date of
purchase.
Limitations of
Warranty
In
addition to any limitations set forth above, this Limited Lifetime Warranty
does not cover extend to (a) any power
unit purchased from someone other than an Authorized Dealer; (b) any Dirt Devil®
System which has not been installed in accordance with manufacturer-recommended
instructions; (c) any Dirt Devil® System or attachment which has
been altered or modified in any way; (d) any Dirt Devil® System or
attachment which has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident, or
improper operation; (e) any damage due to shipping and handling; (f) any damage
due to installation or faulty installation; (g) any Dirt Devil® System
or attachment upon which an unauthorized repair or service has been performed; (h)
any damage to a permanently installed component as a result of or relating to
consumable items such as motor brushes, disposable bags, or filters; or (i) any
Vroom product or Chameleon Adaptable Hose System product as they carry their
own respective warranties. Purchase of products and services from
unauthorized sources does not void your original warranty on the Dirt
Devil® System or attachments purchased through H-P or an
Authorized Dealer. You are responsible for securing additional and separate warranties
on parts and services purchased from someone other than an Authorized Dealer as
H-P does not offer warranty coverage on products and services purchased through
unauthorized sources. There is NO warranty for consumable items
such as light bulbs, belts, beater brushes, motor brushes, disposable bags and
filters.

A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO WARRANTY COVERAGE HEREUNDER, YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF
PURCHASE OR HAVE REGISTERED THE DIRT DEVIL® CENTRAL VACUUM POWER
UNIT BY TELEPHONE AT 1-800-822-8356, ONLINE AT www.cvacregistration.com OR BY COMPLETING AND
MAILING THE WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD.
THIS
WARRANTY IS A SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE
EXCLUDED. THIS WARRANTY COVERS ONLY LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY DESCRIBED
HEREIN AND THERE IS NO LIABILTY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL
DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SYSTEM.

warranties or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above
exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights
and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
Chameleon Warranty
All permanently installed components of the Chameleon Valve are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years under normal use and care as long as the original purchaser own the home of the original installation or until the system is removed from its original installation location, whichever occurs first. In the event of a defect in a permanently installed component of a Chameleon Valve, contact an Authorized Dealer to ensure the best quality repair and servicing. Upon determination of a defect with a permanently installed component, H-P Products, Inc. will provide any replacement parts to the Authorized Dealer at no cost to you. Repair or replacement of any permanently installed defective part or parts shall be at the labor cost billed to you by the Authorized Dealer.
The Chameleon Hose is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care for a period of three (3) years from original date of consumer purchase. In the event of a defect in a Chameleon Hose, it will be repaired or replaced, at H-P Products' option, at an Authorized Dealer's location at no cost to you.

All permanently installed components of the Vroom Retract Vac Valve are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years under normal use and care as long as the original purchaser own the home of the original installation or until the system is removed from its original installation location, whichever occurs first. In the event of a defect in a permanently installed component of a Vroom Retract Vac Valve, contact an Authorized Dealer to ensure the best quality repair and servicing. Upon determination of a defect with a permanently installed component, H-P Products, Inc. will provide any replacement parts to the Authorized Dealer at no cost to you. Repair or replacement of any permanently installed defective part or parts shall be at the labor cost billed to you by the Authorized Dealer.
The Vroom Retract Vac Hose is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care for a period of three (3) years from original date of consumer purchase. In the event of a defect in a Vroom Retract Vac Hose, it will be repaired or replaced, at H-P Products' option, at an Authorized Dealer's location at no cost to you.

Spot Warranty
All permanently installed components of the Spot Valve are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years under normal use and care as long as the original purchaser own the home of the original installation or until the system is removed from its original installation location, whichever occurs first. In the event of a defect in a permanently installed component of a Spot Valve, contact an Authorized Dealer to ensure the best quality repair and servicing. Upon determination of a defect with a permanently installed component, H-P Products, Inc. will provide any replacement parts to the Authorized Dealer at no cost to you. Repair or replacement of any permanently installed defective part or parts shall be at the labor cost billed to you by the Authorized Dealer.
The Spot Hose is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care for a period of three (3) years from original date of consumer purchase. In the event of a defect in a Spot Hose, it will be repaired or replaced, at H-P Products' option, at an Authorized Dealer's location at no cost to you.
Limitations of Non-Residential Applications
In non-residential applications, permanently installed components of the Spot Valve and the Spot Hose are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for ninety (90) days from original date of purchase.
